I flew to Germany again! And this time I got a little bit of holiday pay. Mom joined me again in Frankfurt for a restful time at the hotel, and dad stayed home to work on his course. I look forward to spending more than one night there when I go home for vacation in February. Whew! This jetlag thing is for the birds. I realized I had been awake for 24 hours, slept for 8 hours, and was awake for another 26 hours, then slept for 10 hours.
BTW there's a huge storm/flooding here in the area today. I've been hearing sirens ever since I woke up at 8:00 a.m. It's a mess.
This has nothing to do with the weather, but this is an "after" picture of an accident that happened in the yard right next to my house. I was baking in the kitchen when it happened. Incredible crashing noise. And the car wasn't pretty either. That's one of the reasons I avoided a picture of it.
