Zoo Lights

So, we went to the zoo on Saturday, and I took my really good camera to get pictures of the animals up close.  When we got there, however, I realized that the SD card to hold all the pictures was at home in my computer from the last event I took pictures at.  THEN I remembered I DID have zoo shots--from between Christmas and January 7th--when the zoo changes up the look of things to bring Christmas lights to the city of Houston!

This was probably my most favorite setting of the zoo because of the reflection off the water

One of my favorite ones was actually the use of glow in the dark paint to cause this effect in the lights.  I thought it was very clever!

Since we were dating, Len has called me his "Humming Bird" because I fly away, then come back and play, then fly away, etc.  So, I had to pose here especially!!

Snow?  Bubbles?  Not sure what the machine was making here, but Texas boy stood in it!!

Since this was something I had seen for years and never been to, I was delighted to experience it first hand finally!
