Train Adventures

If you know anything about Seattle, you know that the Light Rail is a train that you can take from the airport to the north part of the city, which works well for me. M has picked me (and Oma and Opa) up and dropped me off multiple times at the train station. . .but she has never seen the train because it's deep under the ground--a little puzzling for a 3 year old mind to grasp. So, I decided it was about time for her to experience it herself.
She was a little nervous at first. . .
. . .but by the end of our 3-train ride was kissing the trains goodbye as they left the station
And what's a little train adventure without stopping for some yummy gelato to share??  (This was more of a highlight than the actual train ride, because M ended up eating her scoop, and finishing mine as well!)
We ended our trip on the bus heading home.  M's looking a little nervous again, but all was well.

Zoo Day with Friends

My girlies got surprised with a special visit from Canadian friends to visit the Zoo!  They found out about it as we entered into the zoo parking lot, and saw their friends.  It was a lot of fun for me, especially since this was the first time I got to meet the kiddos of this family since they were born. About time, if you ask me!
Special guests from Canada brought special treats: TimBits!!!

There were some great shots of the animals today, too!

And these animals, too!

My bro-in-law, B, calls this the "My Little Pony" monkey. . .'cause his tail is so great to brush!  Spoken like a seasoned father of 3 little girls!!  LOL!!!
The baby gorrilla wasn't cooperating with me so I could get a face shot.
Neither were some of the other animals. . .
. . .especially all 5 of them together!!!

Totally looks like these two are having a deep conversation!  LOL!!

Our beautiful little monkeys. . .acting like monkeys!

Spring has Sprung!

Ok, first of all, has it REALLY been almost 3 months since I posted anything??!!! YIKES!! That doesn't mean nothing has been happening, though! I have been renovating more things in my house, and since the reno projects aren't done yet, I have decided post pictures of them all at once. So, you'll have to wait for that gem!
In other life adventure, I got to see my girlies in Seattle. What incredible spring flowers that city produces! Here's a few gems we caught on a walk.
"Queen CC" with her favorite spring flowers
G with her favorites
Oma's favorite flowers! (People included!)
Different day, but M found some favorites, too.  But she couldn't decide which ones.

By the end of it, she had the posing TOTALLY down.  ;)
