A New Emotional Beginning

On Saturday, Len's daddy was taken to a new home, a nursing home in a private residence, to hopefully help him recover better from his health issues stemming back to last October.  Please pray with us that this is a successful endeavor and that he will gain some of his muscle strength back.

Birthday Surprise!

My cousin, Simon, has lived in Texas now for almost as long as we've been married (and 9 months of that was actually in our house with us).  Since he shares his birthday with his daddy, now in heaven, I thought it might be a nice surprise for him to get to see the rest of his family.  They came down from Colorado and spent the weekend with us.

The poor guy has lived in Texas all these years and NEVER BEEN TO BUC-EE'S!!  Since this is a Texas staple, we had to take the visitors here, too.

Because it was a surprise, Simon had to work during their visit, but we entertained them for a visit down to the Gulf of Mexico.

One last breakfast together as a family before they drove back to Colorado
