OK Work Trip

This time it wasn't me working. . .it was Len!  And it just so happened that I was able to sneak away from here for the weekend to join him. . .and a few friends. . .on a visit.

Met these two from our motorcycle ministry contacts.  

Then, just out of curiosity, I went to see Oral Roberts University (because I know some graduates), and found this stunning statue.  It's not great because of the artwork, although that's pretty cool.  It's great because it's a memorial statue for every missionary that has come out of ORU and given their lives for Christ on the mission field.  Pretty incredible that something like that is actually memorialized.

A visit with a dear friend who I worked with in Germany didn't hurt either!

 

Belated Birthday

This guy (on dad's lap) has a birthday every year close to the time we're either traveling from Sturgis or still there.  This year we celebrated late with a playdate.

All of these pics were taken at the museum of illusions just opened recently in town.  It was ok, but a little pricey for how small it was.  We had fun anyway.
