At our wedding, we were generously gifted a free admittance to Weekend to Remember, a marriage retreat weekend.
On Saturday night, the conference purposely ends early so you can go on a date with your loved one. I surprised Len with a Filipino restaurant, bringing back memories of his first assignment in the Navy. It was super yummy, and I'm now in search of a great Pina Colada smoothie recipe.

As it turned out, we ended up volunteering for it, too, and met some fabulous people.
It's a small world, too. The lady in the green shirt just happened to be a homeowner of the house of previous people that I took care of their daughter at BFA in Germany!!
