What an absolute joy it was to celebrate with Luke and Andrea Shuman this past weekend during their wedding! And to have my parents and sister there, too!

Pumpkins in a Pumpkin Patch

It's a Wilcox yearly tradition to head to the pumpkin farm near Seattle to pick out pumpkins for Halloween. The question is. . .with all these pumpkins, how do you choose?

After all that hard work, it's time to enjoy other fun stuff on the farm!

More Friend Visits

I had the wonderful opportunity of visiting my friend, Carly's, house on our way up to B.C. for a few short hours.

She lives RIGHT near a lake. . .I mean DIRECTLY.  Hers is the top window with the satellite dish.

The view when we left the next morning.  Breath-taking.

She was my "taxi" to Canada, but she also was a blessing to all those she came in contact with.  God had placed her there for very specific reasons. 

She was a great story-reader to Mason and Lexie, Heidi's kids.
