Special Visits!

I've had a chance to meet up with some family and friends in the last couple weeks at the airports I've been in (or they've been in)!  Keep an eye out, because you never know when you'll see me in one!

(You gotta' forgive my cousin. . .she'd been staying in the airport for 15 hours when this was taken!)

Another Year, Another Birthday

I came home from my last trip to see these all on the table. . .I either thought, "It's Christmas in July!" or, my husband uses Christmas wrapping paper year round.  I have come to find out the latter is true.

We went grocery shopping over the weekend, but my hubby dropped me off at the store because he "had to run an errand".  When he came to pick me up again, these beautiful roses were waiting on the front seat of the car for me!

After church, we went out for an Italian birthday dinner for me with these lovies

 If you notice, I couldn't keep the little flowers in my bouquet to myself, so I had to put some in my hair to wear to church.  Actually, my man put them in!!  :)  He's so talented!

Another Project Done!

My hubby has been working on this for a couple weeks in between work days and freetime and weather, etc.  It started out as quite a messy, uneven area of cobblestone.

So, we started the process to try to clean things up. . .

. . .and we now have a beautiful walkway!!  

It's really nice having a man around the house!
