Annual Trip to Glasgow
Before there was a funeral, there was vacation!! I decided to go back to the town I was born in Montana and visit my friends there. As soon as I got there, my ride, Karen asked me if I wanted to go to Fort Peck Lake for the afternoon. Easy question to answer! God gave us a beautiful day: 81 degrees on October 1st.
Their son, Jory, about to show me some moves on his wake board.
We drove over to this camp, where my mom and dad worked when they were first married. My dad was the wrangler for the horses and worked in these very corrals!
We then met a good friend, Carla, for supper.
The next day, I got to hang out with Cheyne and Gage at their Grandparents' house while their mom and dad worked. I had fun!
I can't go to Glasgow without having some community dinners with these dear people.
One of my favorite visits was with Connie, a nurse I used to work with in the hospital before I started flying with United. Since I left, she had a horrible accident and is now confined to a wheelchair. But God is working mightily through her, and our talks warmed my heart. She still gives the best hugs in town.

Gram's Memories and Kids
Here are a few of the over a hundred pictures I (and few from A.Carol) took over the weekend.
The basement was FULL of things to go through for each of us, mostly crafts that Gram had made throughout the years. Incredible.
What a treasure to have the daughters create. . .
. . .the coffin flower-piece. Notice the knitting needles.
Look at those CUTE dimples!! This is little Charlie, Jeff's youngest.
Sharon found Grandpa's old hat!

Gram Meier
This morning at 3:30 a.m. my sweet Gram went to meet her Jesus face-to-face. I am in Montana, Mom is in Seattle, and Dad is in Germany. A lot of flight arrangements having to be made for all this. But God has provided plenty of time to be together as a family, and for that I'm thankful. I love you, Gram, and am so very happy that Jesus finally saw fit to take you home. You've been waiting patiently for so long. Thanks for blessing us with your presence in the meantime.
