Joseph's Lullaby

I was listening to Christmas music today, and, once again, was brought to tears by a certain song. What came to mind were times that I had tried (and succeeded) to put my nieces to sleep by singing lullabies to them. It's a precious achievement, one I was quite proud of, considering I was NOT mommy or daddy.

Last year, I wrote on facebook that I was having eggnog and cherry pie for Thanksgiving breakfast. THIS year, I had a feast!!

And was also in the company of these two lovely ladies. MUCH better than being alone last year!

Feeling Fabulous!

I got my hair cut and styled by my small groupie, Rachelle, again today.  I always feel FABULOUS after she's done with me!  Now, if I could only learn how to style my hair like she does. . . . .

Some Refreshing Evening. . . .

 I was delighted to share dinner with Francis and Joanna tonight in their new apartment only 17 miles from my house.  They are good friends from the church I went to in San Francisco, and have recently moved here for a new job opportunity.
