A Visit To Seattle (cont'd). . . .
On weekends like I just had, I am more and more thankful for the job God has given me. Chiara Nicole is as cute as ever and it is such a joy to play an active role in her development! So, these next pictures are for "oooo"-ing and "aaaaa"-ing for those who care to partake! I, of course, think its a fabulous way to spend one's time and resources!

Chiara better learn how to be camera happy! For now, she's tolerating it, but it doesn't mean she likes it!
Just hangin' out with Mommy after lunch.
"I do believe these spa treatments are exactly what I need!"
This is one of my favorite poses. It's the "too-tired-to-hold-up-my-head" pose. Thus, the generous cheekiness!
Hangin' out in the car with Tante Shawna in the back seat. We were off for dessert to celebrate her mommy's birthday. As you can tell, she was thrilled. Actually, if gas prices weren't so high, this would be a great "lullaby" for tough nights! She likes car rides.
If someone could put a new baby smell in a bottle, they would make MILLIONS!
A picture of contentedness.
Oops. Too many distractions. We woke her up!
A typical pose after. . .riding in the car. . .having a light snack. . .being snuggled. . . .
Since daddy had to work hard on mommy's birthday, we took some extra time the next night and walked down to the canal waterway. It was a beautiful night and all of us enjoyed the outing.
I had the priviledge of seeing the bridge rise up while we were down there. Now I know why they "honk" the horn every once in a while.
I couldn't decide between this pose. . . .

I was able to go see the Wilcox family in Seattle again this weekend, and have many more things to put on, but since I am about to go to sleep, I thought this would be the best thing to wet the appetites of those who care about such things (i.e. Omi, Opa, etc.). For those of you who could care less about such details, feel free to bypass this little video. More pictures to come later.

Mother's Day!
A Dream Come True
Today was the kind of day that makes this job so fun. I found out my cousin, Kenton, was going to be down in LA and San Diego this week, and I asked him if he wanted some company for the day since I had the day off. So, after a bit of scruffling from a late flight on my part, I found him!
We then went to pick up the car they had rented, a convertible. Now, I have wanted to rent a convertible for about 8 years now (ask my parents!!) and finally got to experience the joy of driving down the coast. It was soooo fun!
It was also fun to be there for the guys' reactions. Both Mike and Kenton were exclaiming about the warmth and the palm trees all over! Fun!!
A beautiful day for a beautiful drive!
Bless Kenton's heart. He's 6'7", and he rode for 3 hours with his legs all scrunched up so I could fit better in the back seat. What a guy!
And, he seemed to end the day with a smile on his face! Such a great time.
We ended the day with a self portrait. . .
. . .then someone took pity on us, and helped us out. Thanks again, Kenton and Mike!!
