Elijah's Retreat Fundraiser
I got a chance to participate in a fundraiser for Elijah's Retreat, a center for autistic kids and their families. The turnout was really good, and $16,000 (and still counting) was raised!
My friend, Marilyn, and one of her Sunday School ladies.
Jeff (the owner) and Jesse (the caretaker) thanking all the people for coming.
Jesse and Marilyn
Marilyn and I bought t-shirts to support the cause!
Then we went out to help clean up one of the cabins. I got to feed some of the animals!

Dwindling Relatives
Sunday morning we met at Tim Horton's for breakfast. (Photo by T. Shuman)
Then met at Chan's house for more eating and visiting after church
My sis and I stepped in to be their kids for the pic. That's Gram's clock behind us, too!
These girls had WAY too much fun in this room full of lego and playmobile
Jeff the stud. Actually, he was teaching me about a new setting on the camera
Last minute hugs before dispersing.

Not look-a-likes!!
Why, yes, there was a mini golf area set up at the reception!
Does anyone wonder why I got these two mixed up when I first met them separately? Me neither.
Awwe. Love you, Cuz.
Our wild and wacky hosts for the weekend. Great fun!
German representation
Dessert anyone? Especially from these two models!
Just catching a bit of rest after a long day of standing.
These two are waning. College keeps one rather busy. . .and tired!
One of my absolute favorite pics.
CC whispered earlier to her mommy, "I got to hug the bride!"
Family Intermission
In between the wedding and the reception, we gathered as a family at a cousin's house and just got caught up on each other's lives.
Uncle Dan hasn't changed a bit.
Since Jeff couldn't be around, I got a chance to catch up with Nicola
My Uncle Don, who also didn't know if he would be able to make it. I'm glad he did.
The girls playing "Trouble" also a favorite game when I was growing up at Grandma's house.
Sharla's audience

The guys, trying to figure out what was wrong with the treadmill. Never did.
A pause to stretch the faces a little
