August in Seattle
Surprise!! The last trip before my days off to Seattle, I had a very special visitor on my airplane. . .Rebecca! She is in my roommate's small group and they meet at our house on Wednesday nights. VERY fun!
. . .who has recently found her thumb. . .
. . .and her bubbly sister! More pictures to come, I'm sure!

Playtime with Uncle David
This actually happened while we were in Colorado about a month ago, and as I was chuckling over it once again, I realized I hadn't shared it here! So, a little entertainment to start/finish your Saturday. Enjoy!

Geneva, Switzerland
I had a first opportunity to fly to Geneva on a working trip. It was a beautiful day. This was the view out the front door of the hotel. Oh, and just so you know, we pulled up to the hotel and there were two Ferrari's and a Lamborghini parked out front.
That's our hotel, right by the tent, and that's where the lake was.
These pictures are from the bridge that goes over the river for pedestrians, to the right of the hotel. There was a path right along the water (so close you could touch it at times) that you could walk to avoid the traffic. I took that route. :o )These guys were incredible. . .the instrument is made out of some sort of gourds, or coconuts underneath and they played this like a professional--fast and furious! Notice the mallets.
A little path up through the city that took me. . .
. . .to this park, that took me. . .
. . .to this beautiful garden. I don't know where I was, but it sure was pretty!
I then found this spot to have a little rest.
Nice use of an old log/stump! I sat on one of these for my rest.
Some sort of museum behind my resting place.
And a couple last shots of the lake on my walk. Beautiful!

More Travels. . .More Love Connections
I just got back from a 5 day trip to Frankfurt, through Chicago, where I was able to see two people from my BFA life. Miss Beth was there my first two years (when I was 9 and 10 years old). She's always a great person to have around for a laugh!
Then I saw Jana, who I worked with as a residence assistant for one of the years I was on staff. GREAT walk down memory lane with her!
And, as always, I'm a sucker for a good sunrise/sunset. These were taken on my previous trip to Zurich, but beautiful none-the-less.
