I have been waiting and waiting to be ready to post this blog!! After months of renovation, my old kitchen is transformed!! And this is what's been keeping me from posting much else, because my free time was spent doing this!
Before. . .
. . .and AFTER!!!
Ok, so first things first. . .when I moved into this house, the old sink handles got caught on the spray faucet on the side, so I knew I would eventually have to replace the faucet. Little did I know that a sale would go on and allow me to buy a new 9" deep sink (instead of 7") along with a faucet for a cheaper price!!
And did you catch that beautiful, mosaic back-splash, as well as new electrical hardware?? It's the little things! The individual glass tiles are textured and catch the light beautifully in the sunshine.
One of my very first projects was actually to adjust my storage options. . .and I've loved these pull-out drawers ever since! NO MORE WASTED SPACE in the cupboard!!!
This little cabinet is my hidden gem. . .it's on rollers and that butcher block on top can be used to chop up things so I can transfer it directly from here to the stove top or oven. It also gives me additional drawer storage at the same time.
I've got a few more little things to finish up, but doesn't it look swell??!!
