Hospitality in SFO

Although I've been out of commission for quite a while with bronchitis and a sinus infection, I did, however, have a great visit on my last layover with my good friend, Julie, and her exchange student, Evelyn.

Evelyn is a gourmet cook at a fancy Swiss Hotel on Lake Thun in Switzerland.  She had come to the SFO Bay area to go to English classes for a couple months.  And, during my visit, delighted me with her talents!

A quick, but fun, howdy before an all-night flight back to IAD.  Good times!

These talented ladies were on my last flight to ZRH! They are competing today in the World Championship match representing the USA tomorrow through Sunday. I think they'll rock the house! What do YOU think?

By the way, I just checked their website. . .they brought home the gold!!!!

Small Group Make-overs!

What a gift we were given tonight!! One of the girls from my small group is a talented stylist, and she gave us all make-overs!

Now, make-overs are no fun, unless you take before and after pictures, right????

(oops. . .forgot a before. . .but the after is BEAUTIFUL!!)
In the meantime, I gave a couple hand massages.

Oh, and did I forget to mention I got one, too??
