Paid Trip to the Schwarzwald!!

Every once in a while, I realize how blessed I am to have the job I have.  Like when I show up in Basel Badische Bahnhof on a 3 night stay @ my parents house while getting paid on a layover during a 6 day work assignment!

I love walking into the local grocery stores in Germany and drooling over the flowers.

The weather was BEAUTIFUL the whole time I was there.

Who doesn't enjoy a couple treats--blasts from the past--so to speak?!!

Gotta' love German fresh air bedding!

Short visit with friends. . .

. . .and family, too!

And, did I mention, treats??!!

New Year With a New View

Yesterday on my flight back from Munich, we had a LONG flight time because we flew over Greenland instead of going south of there across the ocean.  Although it was a long day, we did get some GREAT photo ops, especially since I had access to the cockpit!

It amazes me to think how much beauty there is in God's creation, and a lot of times, it is unseen by human eyes!  HE is amazing.
