A Visit to Ruthie

It was a blustery spring day today, but it was beautiful to see the trees blooming.

This is John Thomas (J.T.). He and his family were the reason I was out this blustery day.

This is his brother, William (Wills) and his mom, Ruthie. I love this picture, especially because of Ruthie's smiling in the background.

Although this is blurry, I think it's pretty cute!

It's Springing!

HAPPY SPRING!!!

Today is the first day of spring, and to celebrate, my roommate and I went for a hike in Maryland with one of her friends. And THIS is her friend's ride! What a way to celebrate the sunshine!We went for a walk along the Potomac River. It was very nice!

If you look real close in this picture (double click on it) you can see a line of turtles sunning themselves on a log. I think they had the right idea.

There were people kayaking along the river, too. I don't know if it was THAT warm!

Flying Friends

Although I don't have a picture to prove it, I got to escort yet another (former) BFA-er to ZRH on my airplane. This time it was a mom of a sign language student of mine. I actually couldn't remember her name, but I saw her coming down the aisle, and said, "You're from BFA! But I don't remember your name." She did a double-take, then said, "Yes!" She actually went to get settled after that, but hurried back to where I was and said, "I'm Debbie Lamp." I then remembered she was Hannah's mom! :o ) We didn't get to visit very long because I was working in a different cabin, and when I had a break she was sleeping (thankfully!), but I had to record it somehow.
