Lights, Camera, More Lights

These are some lights we saw around the city this Christmas

We help put this particular exhibit up. . .on the farm!  We had to go check out our work when it was dark out, that's when the light shines the brightest.

A gentleman who goes all out every Christmas for the enjoyment of the community. . .including lights that react to music!  Thus, some of my shots aren't showing the whole picture at times, but it was pretty spectacular

An ice-skating rink!!  Made of lights!!

An attempt at a mistle-toe shot.  This is the best we got with both us, and the mistle-toe!
Another light display to walk through in another part of the city

This was actually a large rock (Day View)
with animals displayed on it, and a "flowing" waterfall of lights (Night View)

I was quite impressed, because they actually had about a 3 minute presentation of the Christmas story being told using lights that lit up when each part of the story was told.

And, the 12 days of Christmas song, too.
 This says it all!

Merry Christmas to ALL!!

Yesterday morning I hosted a Christmas brunch for our family, and much fun was had by all.  Unfortunately, I did NOT take a good group picture of all of us like I wanted to, but I did take some pictures to remember the day in future years.

For some reason Pawpaw needed his knife 2x to try to open this gift.  Why?  His son wrapped it!!

 Ash wanted this one!
Best gag gift EVER for a guy who loves guns. . .shot gun toilet plunger!!

 The smiles are the BEST
Another delighted smile for a gift!
Another asked-for gift. . .partially, anyway.
Boys and their toys. . .er. . .tools.  Apparently it's a big thing with guys, even if I don't know what they're used for all the time.
A special gift for each of my boys purchased in my favorite framily jewelry store in MT.
An engraved cross for my hubby. . .
. . .and engraved dog-tags for my sons.
I got some gifts I wanted, too!
A fun morning of celebrating, and then a restful afternoon & evening, including a walk around our neighborhood in t-shirts because it was a lovely 71 degrees outside.
Merry Christmas from Texas!
