SE TX Revival

We had the privilege of training to become counselors for the Go Tell SE Texas Revival.
It was a 4 day long crusade, trying to bring people to Jesus

Not everyone could make it every night, and some recovered from hospital stays to come, but we were there!

I had the chance to talk with 6 different ladies, 4 of which were ALL 14 YEAR OLDS!  Each of those ladies made first time decisions for Christ, and the other two either had questions or needed to get back on track with Him.  What I love about this was it was not just an event--we, as counselors, had to do follow-up and keep in touch with the ones we talked to.  Then we had to give their names to a list for the local churches to follow up with them.  I've been having a few good conversations since then.  Mostly just sending them encouragement to keep going.  It was incredible to be a part of.

Tucson, AZ

My hubby is working out of town a lot this year, so snuck in a quick visit on his day off to enjoy the sights around Tucson, AZ
Very different beauty than I grew up with, but it was there nonetheless.  This is a forest of cacti
Len and his boss

Loved the layers shown in this rock.  Love the man even more.

This guy was making a racket. . .
. . .because his ladies were across the street saying hello to us!

A beautiful end to a beautiful day.

Prayer Ride

This was not part of the prayer ride but got a sweet pic of Eddie and Jojo (Len's dad and son)
Back to the prayer ride!  This was in preparation for the Go Tell Revival happening in SE Texas a couple weeks later.  We prayer-rode to multiple high school campuses surrounding the area, and also the actual stadium where it was going to be held.

This picture captures the lure of this group.  Laughter.  And the joy of the LORD.

Another Day...Another Haircut
